3. Orders and Fabrication

3.1 Custom Orders

Many of our products (including but not limited to conveyors, feeders, screens, and structural fabrication) are custom-built based on client requirements. Once fabrication has commenced upon receipt of a signed Purchase Order (PO), cancellation is not permitted without compensation for materials procured, labor costs, and work completed.

3.2 Client Responsibility for Accuracy

Clients are fully responsible for providing accurate drawings, measurements, and site data. YY Engineering Sdn Bhd shall not be held liable for any errors, delays, or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.

3.3 Design Interpretation

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, any design, layout, or recommendation provided is based on available information and standard engineering practices. Final implementation remains subject to site conditions.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment terms shall be as specified in the quotation, invoice, or contract.

4.2 For major projects, a down payment is required prior to commencement of work, followed by progressive payments based on project milestones.

4.3 YY Engineering reserves the right to suspend work or delivery in the event of delayed or non-payment.

4.4 Late payments may be subject to interest charges as stated in the invoice or permitted under applicable laws.

5. Delivery and Installation

5.1 Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

5.2 We shall not be liable for delays caused by:

• Third-party logistics providers

• Site readiness issues

• Client-related delays

• Force Majeure events (including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or unforeseen disruptions)

5.3 The client is responsible for ensuring that the site is safe, accessible, and ready for installation according to agreed technical requirements.

6. Warranty and Limitation of Liability

6.1 Warranty

We warrant that our manufactured goods will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the warranty period specified in the relevant contract or quotation.

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear

• Improper use or misuse

• Lack of maintenance

• Unauthorized modification or repair

6.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YY Engineering Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Loss of profit or revenue

• Business interruption

• Damages arising from use or inability to use our products or services

7. Intellectual Property & Use Restrictions

7.1 Ownership

All content on this website, including but not limited to photographs, project images, engineering drawings, technical designs, layouts, specifications, text, graphics, logos, and documents are the exclusive property of YY Engineering Sdn Bhd and are protected under Malaysian and international intellectual property laws.
